As I was driving to work, I remembered hearing a Pastor on the radio stating that his favorite and most important verse from the Bible was in the Book of B’resheet (Genesis) Chapter 1, verse 1. As I thought about what he had said, it sounded interesting. So for the umpteenth time, I took another look.
Turning to verse one of chapter one again, I read
“In the beginning G-d created the heavens and the earth.”
As I meditated on the verse that states, “Yeshua (Jesus) was slain before the foundation of the earth.”
As I compared and reflected on both verses, once again I was overwhelmed by the awesomeness of our G-d. In light of just these two verses, a deeper understanding came to me that all my troubles can and will fade into the shadow of His love. All I have to do is kneel in humility and raise my hands before Him in worship.
When things look hopeless, and your prayers seem to go unanswered, remember that before our Heavenly Father created all that you see, and formed you in your mother’s womb, He knew you and called you by name, and waited for you through eternity past to meet you at this point in time.
May the G-d of all creation turn His face upon you, be gracious to you and keep you in his perfect peace through Yeshua Ha Mashiach.
