Not at all. Kehilat Ben David has always been a congregation of both Jewish and Gentile believers. You are welcome here regardless of your background, ethnicity, or prior experience with Messianic Judaism. The only requirement is a desire to seek God.
There’s no dress code. Come as you are — whether that’s casual, business casual, or anything in between. We care far more about you being there than what you’re wearing.
Both! Our services are primarily in English, with Hebrew incorporated in prayers, worship songs, Scripture readings, and blessings. You don’t need to know any Hebrew — you’ll pick up the key phrases naturally over time, and we’re happy to help.
Yes — children are absolutely welcome. Families attend services together, and the meal afterward is a great time for kids to connect with others in the community.
Just yourself! Bring a Bible if you have one — we love following along in the text together. If you want to contribute a dish to the shared meal, that’s always appreciated but never required.
